Sierra Leone

In 2014 AFM connected with a US firefighter from Sierra Leone who wanted to give back to his community. AFM consulted with him in shipping personal protective equipment to the Sierra Leone Fire Force and then began seeking ways that we could advance our work there. In 2019 the Bloomington (Indiana) fire department began working in Sierra Leone through a Mandela Washington Fellowship and invited AFM to consult and again send some equipment. In 2020 AFM will take a vision trip to Sierra Leone to discover what the future will hold for our work.
