US Fire Prevention Curriculum coming soon
for ForeigN Born Populations!
Africa Fire Mission has a unique fire safety and prevention curriculum that we have implemented for developing communities in Africa where fire prevention knowledge is generally non-existent. Due to the success of this program in Africa, we are partnering with fire departments and community groups in the United States, to expand our current curriculum to provide comprehensive fire prevention education in the United States to immigrant and refugee populations. We are looking to collect qualitative and quantitative data from fire departments to best determine our course of action as we implement this programming. Your answers will help us tailor the curriculum to the communities, and allow us to identify the greatest needs. Definition: The foreign-born population includes anyone who is not a U.S. citizen at birth, including those who become U.S. citizens through naturalization.
